This is a VERY helpful pic for a new beekeeper like me. I now know what I am looking for when I go into my hive to see if my queen is alive.

Excellent photo. Being a new beekeeper, I’ve had some anxious moments worrying about my new hive not expanding very quickly. This picture definitely puts my mind at ease.
We saw sealed drone brood yesterday that was not there last Wednesday. Does someone make a wall chart with the life cycles, so I’d know to within a week when to expect them to emerge? Thanks!
