An innkeeper in South Africa has a problem and maybe you can help. There, they hang the laundry outside to dry, but his inn is adjacent to a field with 100 hives. He can’t get the yellow/orange stains out of the laundry and wants to know if there is a way to do it. Any ideas? I know he would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks for any tips you can share.
Baking soda and vinegar for colours, and peroxide for white, perhaps? But if they hang the laundry outside to dry it’s pointless to remove the stain since it will continue to happen. Dye everything yellow, I say.
Washing up liquid is good at removing ‘bee poop’ from laundry dried outside. Rub a bit on and rinse or try washing -up liquid (Fairy original) and a bit of white vinegar, both have worked for me.
